Clofop is a selective, post emergence, systemic herbicide used to control grassy weeds (specically Phalaris minor and wild oats) in wheat crops. It works by inhibiting the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), causing growth to cease within 48 hours, with full weed decay in 14-21 days.
